Today BCP hosted its annual Mother-Son Communion Brunch, a beautiful event that honors the special bond between a mother and son. The committtee chose to donate the flowers from the event to HIB. Beautiful bouquets of white roses, hydrangeas and lilies were delivered to all three facilities this afternoon. The response was overwhelming! A special thanks to Theresa Keeley and Jim Keeley for loading the large vases into their cars and making deliveries to two of our facilities. Mayo also received the beautiful and sweet smelling flowers! Thank you BCP Mother's Guild for the contribution!! Please know how much the flowers were appreciated!!

Thanks to our terrific volunteers that included my brother Mike O'Rourke ( visiting from New Jersey!) for a big effort on Valentine's Day. We delivered more than 160 vases of beautiful flowers to our Hospice centers and to women and children at the Sojourner's Centers in central Phoenix.
The kid's received special heart shaped cookies as well. The smiles on their faces made the effort most worthwhile. As always, thanks to Julene for her extraordinary effort and to Teddy for leading his gender in volunteer contributions.
